PRESEASON NOTES
Has a chance to be one of the most dominant inside presences in the entire country... Seems to get better every time she takes the court... Is a very coachable player who can run the court and possesses great hands... Presents match-up problems for many teams with her size, ability to score and excellent passing skills from the low block... Very unselfish player who looks to involve her teammates if opponents choose to double team her... One of the top-rated players coming out of the prep ranks who will look to continue that reputation during her sophomore campaign.
2007-08 (FRESHMAN)
Emerged as on of the top freshmen in the region, earning Conference-USA All-Freshman Team accolades... Played in 31 games, making 27 starts, and averaged 7.9 points and 5.4 rebounds a contest... Finished fourth in C-USA and 32nd nationally with an average of 2.2 blocked shots per game... Made her first career start against Texas Southern (11/9/07)... Tallied three rebounds, two blocks and two points... Had a solid night at Cal State Bakersfield finishing with nine rebounds, eight points and seven blocks... First UH player to have seven or more blocks in a game since Darla Simpson (1/17/90)... Collected seven rebounds and five points in 22 minutes against Cal Poly (11/15/07)...
